Office Hours and appointments

This lists our office hours and appointments...

We are open all week days.

Monday 2 pm to 5 pm

Tuesdays 1 pm to 5 pm (later appointments some Tuesdays )

Wednesdays 2 pm to 6 pm (later appointments some Wednesdays)

Thursdays 1pm to 5 pm (later appointments some Thursdays)

Friday 9 am to 5 pm

We do not have Saturday hours at this office.

If you want to be seen over a weekend, it is possible to arrange an appointment in the morning hours. This will involve additional charges. Dr. Gopalan can see you at the Urgent Care Center at GBMC (The Greater Baltimore Medical Center) on weekends. There has to be a good reason for this, and will involve additional costs (that your health plan may not cover).

Where does Dr. Gopalan go weekday mornings, Monday thru Thursday ?

I go to several places, including hospital rounds at GBMC, Glen Meadows Retirement Community, Manor Care Nursing Facility, The Chimes Inc. Medical Suite, and Hospice of Baltimore. I some times do home visits for older, sicker patients with transportation problems.

Appointments:

In general same day appointments are available.Occasionally they are not, but we can usually schedule you within the next business day. If you are a new patient, this may be harder, as we need more time to spend with you. If you have complex or multiple medical problems you need more time. If your medical problems are not well defined, you need more time.

Appoint ment slots are 15 minutes. If you think you need more time, please tell us.

Cancellation and Rescheduling:

I have never charged a patient for a cancelled appointment or a missed appointment, so far. I do think that its fair that I reserve the right to do this.

Please let us know well in advance if you are unable to keep an appointment. You must let us know 24 hours ahead of time, during business hours to avoid a charge for a broken appointment.

If you need a reminder call from us, let us know when you make the appointment.

You may use this form to to prepare for a visit.
